  • I enjoy it a lot, I feel satisfied with the work I complete. The job can be stressful but it is worth it

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Project organisation is always established and suited to the client. The apprentice network is thought out and provides good support too.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot, I have the time allocated for university and get help where I can. I am also comfortable asking any questions that I need to. However sometimes I have had line managers I struggle to open up to when needed support.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • UCEM is a great and flexible university, it provides support and amble time to prepare and complete assignments.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel it is a good foundation for the industry, however some modules are sometimes not to do with the degree. My degree also isn't greatly in line with my project controls role, but does give me the opportunity to move to a different role later on.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Social drinks, 5 a side football and volunteering days are all available. Also apprentice network sessions are arranged and encouraged
