I am a data analyst, my day to day is different each day depending on my projects. I typically log on for the day and check my to-do list, gather and analyse data and present to stakeholders with presentations and have discussions and feedback.
Yes i have learnt many new skills since being here: Data Analysis Data Management Data Visualisation Programming Machine Learning Data Storytelling Artificial Intelligence (AI) Predictive Analytics Data Mining Problem-Solving Critical Thinking Attention to Detail Domain Knowledge Risk Mitigation Strategies and Solutions
I really enjoy my programme and the people who i work with, everyone is helpful and engaging and will give you any support needed
It is very organised with what is to be learnt, what work is required as well as expectations and feedback so you can constantly improve
I receive all the support i ask for and have never been denied help with any questions or queries, everyone goes above and beyond
The training providers also go above and beyond for the apprentices offering all the help and make time for you answering emails and questions quickly with no judgement. As well as providing all the resources
The training provider requires projects that have been learnt in training to be completed from real business problems so integrating what you have learnt in the workplace is really easy and helps you improve noticeably
There is a wide range of extra curricular activities to get involved in all the time throughout the year so even if you miss one/ dont feel like doing a certain type there are plenty that come through to match your aspirations and goals
Yes
The culture, the people, the learning and training provided, the resources you have readily available, the work life balance, the opportunities the skills developed. The list goes on, it is a very good place to work
Try your hardest to get in, work hard and smart, put the effort in if you get the chance because it is really worth it :)
