Helping the finance manager with day-to-day tasks, assisting with reporting for consumer products the wider finance team, assisting with month-end checklist tasks, providing backing for audit samples, year-end activities, processes checks and improvements
Yes, such as confidence, taking initiative and thinking outside the box
Yes, having a whole cohort of apprentices experience the same thing at a big company makes the experience extra enjoyable
The college and work balance is quite well structured, with an allowance for 1 study day a week. The aim of the scheme is to rotate yearly(?) but this could have been better communicated
Plenty of resources for support within our working lives in addition to plenty of study support
A huge wealth of resources to help with studies, which can be found on the BPP portal, this makes studying a lot easier
The various accounting entries and techniques required from my studies cross over into my day-to-day role quite a bit, helping me be more confident whilst performing in my role
Yes there are plenty of extra curricular apprentice events, in addition to some sporting activities as well as various extra curricular groups within the BBC

Plenty of opportunities to get involved with various activities, fun to work at a company who are responsible for so much culture within the UK and across the world
To be yourself, and do as much research as possible into the role as well as the BBC
