  • Community Investment Team, managing BA's charity partnerships, dealing with excess charity baggage and charity event management.

  • I have learnt and developed many skills in my role - managing stakeholders, communication, adaptability, confidence and more

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the job role of the programme. The study work is interesting and helps me learn new skills that are relevant to my role.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Well organised. I believe the placements could be three 6 month placements and a 1 1/2 year long term placement to allow for more time in each role.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support from both the apprenticeship team if needed and especially my managers in the community team and my wider sustainability team.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have only just started my new qualification but I have received a lot of support so far and my tutor is always available to contact.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Slightly better as I learn the more technical side of fundraising and from a smaller charity perspective, rather than corporate fundraising. However I believe the day-to-day learning from actually working is the most beneficial thing.

  • Socials with apprentices, BA football teams, team days.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • The working environment is very positive and I love working at BA and in my team, I'm extremely passionate about what I do and I look forward to coming into work everyday, which is my ultimate goal for my career.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
  • Research BA's strategy and goals prior to applying and show that you are willing to learn and are passionate about working for BA.
