I have learnt and developed a variation of skills from communication to management skills from doing my apprenticeship.
I really enjoy my apprenticeship and truly believe it’s one of the best opportunities
It’s started off challenging with university and logging my off the job however now in my 3rd year it’s been progressive and the university and linked well with Skanska
I have a line manger I really get on with who checks in on my work and my university work.
My company have always been an advocate when it comes to prioritising my uni before work as it’s stressful enough balancing both so there always supportive when it’s exam season to make sure I’m revising to give me best opptunity to pass
Time will tell once’s I finish I guess
Yes I attended lot of apprenticeships day my company host to catch up with other apprentices around the business and also meet the senior leadership team in the business who spend time out of their day to come and speak to us and be a buddy
Yes
Company that feels like a family so many people to push you to be better but also give great life and career advice would always recommend and sing their praises
Be yourself and tell your story and all will work out.
