My role involves the preparation of accounts for small to large companies nationwide which are later uploaded to Companies House to provide stakeholders with financial information.
I have learnt many new skills including the foundations of accounting and double entry, along with learning different softwares such as excel and CaseWare.
I think the programme is the best way to enter into the accounting industry as success isnt defined by a degree to the extent as other industries. I do enjoy my job and the people around me make it much easier to do so.
The programme has a strong structure thanks to my college training plan. This keeps my learning on a schedule which I know well in advance to stay organised.
My employer has been very supportive of my journey so far, everyone above you has gone through the same thing so are very understanding.
The training provider helps with college providing personal help if its needed but are also clear during the course itself.
My learning at college has provided me with accounting and ethical knowledge which helps me develop my understanding of the role day to day
Many social activities such as summer events, bowling, go karting and more. With a strong team culture backing these events.
