  • My role as an apprentice quantity surveyor on a day-to-day basis involves managing the commercial side of construction project (specifically the construction of sewage treatment works). Internally I interact with my colleague who I work alongside with who is senior quantity surveyor. Myself and this senior quantity surveyor both joined JN Bentley on the same day and work really well together as we pursue through the delivery of a new sewage treatment works in Cleobury Mortimer.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Leeds College of Building are really supportive to me with my HNC course as they enable me to pursue and succeed in all my assignments and obtain a valid grade upon the marking of my first submission rather than allow me to submit something that isn't to the required expectation essentially causing me to need to find more time to pass my assignments - in summary they have the correct mechanisms in place to enable me to get the most out of my college course.
