  • Learning the basics of joinery and how to use different tools and machinery accurately, learning the different types of wood, different joints to create different things and learning new and easier ways of doing things gaining construction knowledge along the way that we can put into our work, we go through a booklet which has different joints to make, we follow the book and make it as accurate as we can to the drawing from the booklet practising different techniques.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my trade its just a shame that the atmosphere is based on school levers and i feel like everyone is tarnished with the same brush and treat like we are still in school, i get that there is a lot of school levers but a lot of us who are older feel like we are spoke to like children which is quite disrespectful in my opinion.
