  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role was a Customer Account Executive. I worked in the Morrison's, nutrition team. I had responsibility of the Marmite Account, Shippers and the field team. I also updated the modeller so that all the numbers were updated weekly for our weekly sales.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I would say skills I have developed would be communication, team-work, problem solving and also my time management. These are all skills I feel I had prior to Unilever from working in other job roles, however some I was less confident on, so they have improved.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I did enjoy the programme however I do feel like there should be more opportunities to understand specifics about the programme. My apprenticeship was called Business Admin, however it was mainly excel. This was great as I have developed so much through using excel however I didn't expect it to be mainly that.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • 9/10

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I had a call at the beginning of the year explaining we would get regular catch ups. This did not happen and any emails I have been sent, it takes a while to hear back from so I feel there was very little support and Manpower have been reluctant to respond. I was directly emailed about taking part in a interview after finishing my apprenticeship as to which I accepted and asked some questions back, and heard nothing, so quite disappointing. I also feel like there could of been more support towards the end of our apprenticeships in terms of next steps.
