  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Liaising with many Crew in BA and equip them with all the up to date devices, they need in order to be able to work efficiently and effectively whilst on duty. This will inevitably boost customer satisfaction and loyalty to BA.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have started to notice, i have become so much more confident as a person. Th is because my role requires me to communicate with others all day. As i’ve been doing this for 6 months now, the more you do something the better you get.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The nature of the programme i have been on in the last 18 months, is to get a flavour and insight of different departments within BA. This is a brilliant way or networking with a range of diverse individuals across BA. Many colleagues i speak to about this, also believe this is a great opportunity for us young people.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme is structured and well organised, especially in my 1st year on the programme as I had weekly meetings with my placement area manager as well as my apprenticeship manager. I never felt alone and i knew someone was there for me.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I’ve always received numerous amounts of support from everyone in the BA family. Whether that be a colleague i’m working with or someone I hardly know, there will always be someone by my side to support me.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Support from my training provider is always available. If i’m ever unsure about anything all i need to do is send an email and I will receive a beneficial email within a matter of minutes. I requested whether my training provider could have a one to one session with me, every month as well as the group sessions and without hesitation she set up the meetings for me.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • As my training provider, is always introducing me to new project management terminologies every month. I can take these words and phrases and apply them into my own work.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Absolutely! in BA there are countless opportunities available to get involved with.

  • 9a. Would you recommend British Airways to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • British Airways is the flag carrier of the United Kingdom for a reason. BA is so flexible and compassionate and will always adjust to your schedules what ever you may have going on in your personal life, just know BA will always have your back. It almost feels surreal.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
  • Go in with confidence! all individuals who work in this remarkable company all want to hear your story and what makes you unique, especially when it comes down to the interviews. Don’t be shy at all!
