I enjoy the variety that my programme provides, no two days are the same.
My team has a collection of work orders/incidents from across all of the BBC Scotland bases, all of which are assigned to team member by themselves or a manager.
They have been somewhat helpful in providing support. While I have had on-line sessions with various support workers, the onsite support worker to help me with my autistic spectrum disorder at the start of this apprenticeship was not put in place until this past month.
They allow me time to complete all of my university modules and understand that I am doing important work for this apprenticeship.
It helps me when documenting a new setup, and provides me with the extensive technical knowledge to allow me to perform my job to the best of my ability.
Yes I am a member of the apprentice community who host several events/socials. I am also part of the Young talent network that host serval meet-ups across my workplaces departments. Furthermore, I'm also a member of the Enigma network for neurodivergent BBC employees.
