I am part of the HR Services Team and I work on different processes such as background checks, sickness absence processing and ID checks for DBS checks and Right to Work Checks.
I have learnt how to have professional discussions with my tutor which has helped me to gain confidence in my role. I have learnt how to accept feedback and reflect on my work. I am doing my Maths qualification alongside and my maths skills have definitely imroved.
I love it. I don't want it to end! I have learnt so much and it feeds the curiosity I have to learn more and will be sad for it to come to an end.
Very well structured. I learn in monthly modules of various HR related subjects on training sessions with people outside of my organisation. My tutor and the other leads are always very well organised and they are really knowledgeable and supportive. They explain everything well and the training is delivered and organised well.
My Manger is so supportive and I have regular 121's and she takes part in my reviews with my Tutor. If I am finding the work load challenging or volume of work, my Manager helps me to reduce any stress I might be feeling and checks in on me often. She is amazing!
I receive loads of support from my Tutor. We have regular 121's and reviews and she will email me often. I know she is available for support should I need it. My Tutor is very approachable, understanding and helpful.
Without the help and support from everyone at MBKB, I would not be able to be where I am now and be a more knowledgeable, confident person. Thank you MBKB!
There are extra-curricular activities but I don't regularly take part. I have attended a quiz last year which was a fundraising event for our charity partner which was really fun.
Yes
WTW has allowed me to upskill and support my personal development by doing my apprenticeship and maths qualification. I receive loads of support from my colleagues and manager. I think it is fantastic for an employer to support colleagues in this way.
