My roll involves that of a store assistant with added responsibility at times. Mainly involves working stock and helping customers and also u spend some time on tills and looking after the self service tills. Occasionally I manage other staff on a small section and have completed date checks
New skills I’ve learnt is how to use Aldis technology and also I have developed my leadership skills.
I really enjoy this programme as I feel like my development is being invested in and I can see a clear road towards my progression
My structure is fairly organised and I have allotted time to complete any work and meetings to attend. However because it is a busy store it is sometimes difficult to find the time I need
My employer is very helpful and often has checked in on me to ensure I am up to date with my work
My training provider is very helpful and always available if I need any help. There are many ways I can contact them and they offer good in depth feedback
I think in the long term this qualification will help me in my role as it is expanding my knowledge on certain aspects and allows me time to look at things in more depth
There are occasionally times where the team meet up outside of work however nothing is organised from a work point of view
Yes
I would recommend Aldi as everyone is very friendly and it is nice to feel part of a team, and there is always something to do
I would advice them to stick with it as it is hard at first but once you settle in it definitely becomes a lot better
