I co-managed the apprenticeship mailbox, arranged meetings with stakeholders, forwarded potential apprentices to training providers, assisting with the finances in our DAS account, handled and created processes, produced monthly reports, I am the owner of the process that approves apprentice cohorts on the DAS.
I have learned many skills, primarily through microsoft services like Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Word, I learned how to use formulas in microsoft excel to organise and automate data procurement. I learned how to manage calendars for myself and my team.
I enjoyed it very much, it was freeing, I was able to express myself, I learned a variety of business related subjects that I will cherish throughout my career.
There was a clear stated structure, I was allowed time for my work, I was discussed with on the best dates for EPA that worked for me.
I was allowed my 6 hours a week to focus on my apprenticeship, my colleagues were incredibly supportive and open to any and all questions without judgement.
I was able to ask any question, arrange calls when I needed to, they were incredibly supportive and available when I needed them.
I haven't received the final grade yet but I feel it will support me in my career moreso, it was warrant my place in Sodexo allowing me to land the job I want to get.
I attended a volunteering day but there haven't been other activities I've been involved in
Yes
They're a good employer, my colleagues are incredibly supportive so I know being on an apprenticeship, support would be there.
Ask plenty of questions, be okay with failure as long as you learn from it, enjoy yourself.
