I work as a corporate Account Manager at Softcat PLC. This involves selling IT to relevant Companies. I spend time prospecting Accounts in order to open new business, as well as maintaining relationships with long standing customers. I spend my time reaching out to customers through calling and emailing, as well as meeting customers in person.
I have developed my networking and communication skills both internally with my colleagues and externally with my customers.
It has been a great mixture of work experience within the company as well as learning a great deal more within the world of sales through my apprenticeship.
I have ample time to complete my apprentice as well as focusing on my role as an Account Manager.
I receive a lot of support internally through my line manager and development programme, helping to support me in my role.
i have a lot of support through dedicated trainers who i can rely upon to help me on my qualifications.
It has been a great way to obtain new and differing ways to approach and solidify relationships with my customers.
There are a lot of social events and sports teams, helping to build relationships with my colleagues.
