, I am working in the business processing department of my organisation, where I make sure that all contracts are given the go ahead to proceed and to pay. My role requires me to, when we receive documentation from our brokers and vendors, check that everything provided is 100% accurate and up to date, legal and non-fraudulent, once this has been checked and completed, I can then sign and process the deal for payment. If need be, I also send out the documentation to the customer for them to complete their business with us (until they would ever need to cancel/settle/have any changes to their business which would then be passed onto our customer service team) I do enjoy having an impact in Siemens as every deal that I work counts and some of these deals I have worked can be worth upwards to over £1 million. This position has taught be various skills from finance management to having an eagle eye for details and always being clear and concise when communicating with our clients.
Experiences dealing with customers online and through email, also time management, Communication, adaptability and also teamwork has been improved.
Do defiantly enjoy my current department in my work, that of business processing (BPC) Less stressful than previous departments and the work suits me more.
I would say it is quite organised.
Defiantly received alot of support from my employers and managers, always allowed time out of meetings and could take some time when I needed it to work on my projects.
My training provider was great, always helpful and very kind and considerate, could not do without!
I learnt several safe guarding tips and techniques which I can apply to my working and regular life. Scams are one of these safeguarding lessons I have applied, mostly those of the online variety.
There's been a few events outside of work, social dinners, like the ones we have in Siemens yearly at winter, summer ones and ones at Christmas and more.
Yes
For me, great location, great people, satisfying work, good culture and a several great perks.
Be yourself! And also study a bit about what Siemens does before you apply to!
