I am a Store Assistant and complete task such as stocking shelves serving at tills and maintaining the appearance of the store. In the morning it involves fast paced work and in the evenings it involves less strenuous activities.
I have learnt how to manage my time a lot better and how to set goals for myself to achieve as well as it improving my interpersonal skills.
I think it's going really well my colleagues are lovely and the whole learning experience has been great. I would definitely recommend it to someone else. There are good and bad days in terms of how much I can achieve however overall I am very pleased
It is very organised I always have time to complete my apprenticeship work and still complete the tasks I have to do during working hours.
I receive lots of support from my managers they are very encouraging and help to motivate me to be better. They set me goals to meet and praise me when I've met them. All my achievements are recognised and I'm given time where needed to complete apprenticeship tasks.
They allocate me time where needed to complete my learning task and are very encouraging of it.
The support helps me perform better because when I'm having bad days it reminds me that I can do it as long as I put my mind to it.
Yes they are currently planning a team building hike for those who want to go. The company is very big on team building and good work environments.
Yes
They are a successful company and there work ethic is great. They also only hire from the bottom up meaning everyone that works there has been a store assistant and worked all the way up which I think lays out a healthy professional and fair promotion process and framework.
always be yourself they are a good company and being a store assistant with a big personality is awesome and very rewarding when building customer rapports,
