Back Office Operations for the Markets Division. Focussed on Post trade settlement. This involves talking to internal and externally stakeholders in a fast-paced environment to ensure successful management of operational and settlement risk.
Communication, Presentation, giving and receiving feedback. Alongside this, professional soft skills have been incredibly developed.
I do enjoy it. The support from the Bank has been incredibly. In addition, my development has been great. Whilst the programme is a big commitment, I truly feel I have progressed incredibly well for my age and I am very grateful.
The programme is very well-structured. The Bank provide light-touch management of apprentices whilst ensuring they have the correct framework for support when needed. It is a great balance.
Lots of support - good management, great opportunities and selfless experienced professional who are willing to share their knowledge.
Great levels of support - academic mentors, the lecturing staff have also been of high quality. It is an organised, well-delivered and strategically crafted course.
I think it is well-aligned with it being applied finance. I have found it to be useful either directly to my role or indirectly to build my wider knowledge.
