  • As a designer, my role centers around creating thoughtful, user-centered visual and interactive experiences. I work on digital branding, or marketing materials, my goal is always to communicate clearly and effectively through design.

  • I’ve enhanced my UI/UX skills, especially in design systems and accessibility. I’ve also learned video design to create more engaging interactions. My ability to communicate design decisions has improved, along with better collaboration in cross-functional teams. Overall, I’m designing with more intention, inclusivity, and strategic thinking than before.

  • I really enjoy my apprenticeship programme. It offers a great balance of hands-on experience and learning. I get to work on real design projects, collaborate with professionals, and constantly develop my skills. The support and mentorship have been invaluable in helping me grow both creatively and professionally.

  • The programme is well-structured and easy to follow. There’s a clear schedule with set goals, regular check-ins, and supportive guidance throughout. Learning sessions are spaced out well, allowing time to apply new skills in real projects. Overall, the structure helps me stay on track and make steady progress.

  • I receive a strong level of support from my employer. My manager and team are always available for guidance, and there’s a positive culture of feedback and collaboration. I’m encouraged to ask questions, learn at my own pace, and grow both personally and professionally throughout the apprenticeship.

  • I receive consistent support from my training provider. They offer regular check-ins, clear guidance on assignments, and helpful feedback to improve my work. Whenever I have questions or need clarification, they’re quick to respond. Their support has made it easier to stay focused and progress steadily toward my qualification.

  • My qualification supports my role really well. The content is directly related to the work I do, helping me understand design principles, user experience, and industry tools more deeply. It gives me the confidence to apply new skills on the job and continuously improve the quality of my work.

  • Yes, there are a range of extra-curricular activities at work. We have regular social events, creative workshops, and team outings that help build connections. There are also opportunities to join networking events and industry talks, which are great for learning and meeting other professionals in the design and tech space.
