As a creative apprentice, my role on a day-to-day basis varies as I work on a wide range of creative content from video, graphics to microsites for internal and external customers at SAP.
I have learnt a range of skills, primarily video editing alongside the additional existing development of designing microsites - however utilising a different platform that I have never used before.
In terms of organisation and structure it does fluctuate. At the beginning of the programme it was very structured, however recently there are occasions where work/university arrangements are organised last minute.
I have regular one-to-ones with my employer and they are extremely supportive within my role.
I have the occasional review session with university mentors who are reachable and supportive on a professional and academic level.
As my degree is broad on a creative level - exploring different digital design areas, some elements/modules are useful and relevant within my day-to-day role which has helped my performance, improvement and quality of work I have produced.
Yes there are plenty of extra-curricular activities to get involved in at work! From the gym, games room, sports clubs, book clubs etc...
Yes
The opportunities at SAP are amazing and are incredibly invaluable from the atmosphere, networking, skill development, support and as someone beginning their career, I can 100% recommend SAP!
Be authentically you and be open minded :)
