i’m a duty manager for premier inn and i am responsible for making sure the restaurant is performing well, ensuring guests are happy and to be there for the team if they need anything.
i have learnt lots of skills needed to be a manager as it is my first job in management i have improved in all aspects
i enjoy it a lot because it is helping me to gain more knowledge which is exactly what i need at this point in my career
very well structured as there is consistent online meetings to review progress
i receive a lot of support from my manager if there is anything i’m unsure of
lots of support and easy to contact if i need any support
very well as i am always learning something new and refreshing my memory on things i already knew before
i work on a bar and a reception desk which is good for developing social skills
