For the first too weeks we did team work and skill building activities to develop existing/ new skills. The third week we did business experience in a part of EY
I have definitely developed existing skills like confidence and team work. Its interesting seeing how these skills schools teach us apply in a working environment.
I really enjoyed the programme overall! it was a bit nerve wrecking at the start but after the first few days I felt like I knew everyone there for years
Everyone we met on the programme was very nice and didn't make us feel like we were just students.
At the start we got a plan of what we were doing over the weeks. it was obvious a lot of work and effort had been put in the programme
everyone was very supportive at EY and if we had any problems there was definitely someone to turn to.
I felt well supported throughout my time at EY. Guidance was well assessable and there was always someone there to help.
Travelling cost were reimbursed by EY and I didn't really have any other costs. The office is like a 2 minute walk from the train station so it was really easy to get to.
There was many opportunities after the programme like the school leavers and throughout the year after there was other chances to help out at EY and spread the word about the programme.
Yes
it was a very enjoyable three weeks and I would do it again if I could. It gave me a valuable insight into a professional firm, it is definitely worth it
Don't get stressed out about the online tests they aren't that important! The interview isn't as bad ad you'd think
