My role involves helping assist my co workers in day to day finance. This ranges from a little bit of payroll to accounting. I help with invoicing and procurement whilst also getting an overview with the management and administration side of my role.
Over my time working for DDFRS, I have developed my ability to liaise with people. Whilst also developing my cognitive skills.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme. Whilst getting hand on experience, I am not only just given plenty of responsibilities but I am also given help whenever i need it. This helps my progression as i never feel like I'm stuck.
I would say that my programme is pretty well structured and organised. I understand what is expected, what the progression path look like and how it works.
I receive as much support as i need. If i ask for any help or advise, i am happy knowing i will get the response i need.
Similar to the amount of support i receive from my employer, i am offered extra revision and support sessions to help me towards my qualification if i need them.
I am confidant that the qualification that i am doing is right for the role that i have. It gives me a boarder understanding of what i am doing, helping me preform to a greater standard.
