Managing operations on site. This includes dealing with many contractors that come on site, I have to plan improvements in line with budgets.
I knew nothing about this industry but they have given me the platform to learn everything I can over the last few years.
I really enjoyed the on-site learning and the more hands on style. However the university wasn't very helpful at all, the communication was poor and made it very difficult to enjoy.
There has always been a plan in place to keep me progressing, I have always been pushed to the max which has helped me to develop.
There is always someone to help with any questions I have what so ever.
Derby really haven't helped me at all, disappointing.
Minimal, much of what you learn you can't take onto site.
Yes, there are always networking events, especially for apprentices, its something that has really helped me along the way being able to lean on my strong network for answers when I don't have them.
Yes
Its a place where you can come to work, enjoy your job and go home safe stress free. They ae always looking to better themselves and be the best employer they can be.
Be yourself, don't try and change who you are because you think it may give you more of a chance.
