Access Planner - My job role is to service companies with our network, finding a route in to the building to there COMMS room and providing the correct equipment in order for this to work.
Yes i have learnt many new skills.
I enjoy my programme a lot, however as i am the only apprentice within my area i have found things a little more challenging. If there where two apprentices took on and we was with each other i think things would become a lot more easy.
I feel very valued by the company as it aims to treat everyone with respect and with equal opportunities.
My programme has not been very organised as my original manager wasn't local to me, however i have been moved over to a new manager who has made things a lot more easy and we can also communicate better.
There has been some support given, however when i first started this wasn't always the case.
Within my local team there is a lot of support shown, i can ask any of my team for help whenever i require it and that is a major boost for myself and for my confidence.
Compared to other apprenticeships i can't have any other complaints.
I feel there will be within the future.
Yes
Big company to work for, good programme, good pay.
When applying make sure that its a career that you want and not just something to put you over for the next 18 months. Come at this with a open mind and always be willing.
