My role involves tasks such as pulling reports for my buyers, making amendments on the system, as well as approving PO's
I have developed skills such as prioritising my tasks. Between work and the fashion retail academy i have to manage mt time in order to complete all aspects of work. I have also become better at my sample management skills
Despite only being to the fashion retial academy once this year so far, i enjoyed out week block. I enjoyed having a mixture of online and in person learning
The programme is very well structured with our timetable being very clearly set out for the next year. We have set days to keep in contact with our FRA teacher as well as coaching sessiolns
We receive some support. We get dedicated study hours (usually about 3 hours a week) to complete our assignments.
We have only been once so havent recive massive of support as of yet, however as we get into the apprenticeship programme, im sure it will come. We have regular sessions to ensure we are on track with the assignments we are given
It has definitely made me manage my time better, and has made me become more organsied within my work. As well as this it has encouraged me to go to other meetings such as my trade to get a abetter understanding of my job role
They offer man social events, both company wide as well in my team. They have had things such as the lipsync battle, as well as winter/ summer fests
Yes
TJX is a great company to work for as it offers many apprenticeship/ work opportunities. It also allows you to be exposed to other roles, which in the future you may want to side step too. As well as this it offers extra perks such as flexible working and summer hours
I would say to be open to any opportunity that's given
