Shunting & Loading trains on the sidings, creating, reviewing and bringing documents up to the new Tarmac standard. Ticketing and invoicing.
Yes, very interesting and motivating to learn more. Get a better understanding of all sections and areas of the quarry, including other employees roles and their day-to-day tasks.
Think it is brilliant, It gets you involved in tasks & roles you wouldn't otherwise be involved in. Lots of networking, therefore meet lots of new people in and out of our business (Contractors).
Provides a wide variety of information for lots of different subjects.
Receive a lot of support from my line manager with my role in general & all my course work.
Never been in a position where I've had to ask for their support but they always seem very helpful.
I think it helps me to perform better as I have a greater understanding of different aspects of the company which enables me to grow and learn within the business.
I attended a health and wellbeing day at St. Georges park where I met lots of new people from different areas. I also got to understand people better.

There is lots to learn in a very wide variety of areas. You can always better yourself as there are endless development opportunities available within the business which are aimed at everyone.
