I am a graduate surveyor on a rotational graduate scheme. I change teams every four months. My day-to-day role involves assisting my team on projects. In valuations, this involved making comparable reports and writing full valuation reports. In LRD, this involved marketing development schemes in London.
Yes - I have learnt a lot about the valuation process and how to accurately value residential property. I have developed skills in interacting with clients. I have also developed my presentation skills, creating internal briefings to help market certain development schemes.
I enjoy my programme very much. I have learnt a lot from the teams that I have been in and have always felt supporting in my learning.
The programme is very well structured. I enjoy having a study day a week in which my whole focus is studying for my masters.
I receive a lot of support - my team are always checking in to check my work load is manageable alongside my studies.
