Customer Support Technician My daily tasks involve completing any emails and phone calls in which we recieve from our customers. I speak to many different teams within Fujitsu so we can sort the users problems out. I speak to the customers that we have on a day to day basis to deal with any problems they have. My responsibilities are to take phone calls and emails from users and to log their problems via TFS. We then either deal with these problems by ourself or we pass these to a support team to deal with. Every day I take phone calls and emails and log these via TFS and either deal with these or pass these to a support team.
I have completed many different internal training courses which have impoved my knowledege and my technical ability has grown because of the training courses which I have been on. My best internal traing course was troubleshooting as I learnt a lot of thing which have helped me in my job. I am currently completing my Level 2 IT work which is currently going well.
I really enjoy the work what I am currently doing this is because my colleagues are really friendly and the work is enjoyable (sometimes). The work has met all my expectations and more as when I first joined i didnt know what I was coming into but I really enjoy it.
I feel very valued by the organisation and this is due to my colleagues and my manager who have helped me. I have recieved praise from my manager and sometimes from the contracts which we deal with. I am very ivolved with most tasks that we do which makes me feel like im an asset to the team. I am very valued within the team and everone is very supportive of each other.
When I first Joined the company I received a great Induction which was a great start to my career. I have been on a lot of training courses which have developed my skills which has helped in my place of work. I have been given days where I can study for my Level 2 qualification and my college tutors have been in every so often to check my work. My programme was well organised as I have been able to complete my college work whilst also completing many different internal training courses and I have been able to do my normal work for my Job.
I recieve a lot of support when I am completing my traing, My first point of contact would be my College tutor and they are very happy to help with any problems I am having. Everyone who I am able to contact are always happy to help with any problems I am having and they are able to support and guide me with everything.
I receive a lot of support from my manager as when I have any problems I am able to speak to my manager and he has no problem of speaking to me. If I ever have any problems regarding any HR I am able to contact the team and they are always willing to help. It is very easy for me to get support from anyone I need it from as everyone seems to want to help. Everyone's general attitude to supporting me is very good and everyone is willing to help.
My salary package meets my costs very well as I still currently live with my parents and I just pay a percentage of my wage to living costs. My travel costs are quite expensive however my salary covers this off well. My daily costs are not bad as all I pay for is my food and a paper on the morning. My salary is also good for anything social I do as i sometimes go to the cinema on a weekend and I am able to do this. As I live about 12 miles away from work it is generally quite expensive to travel from home to work and back but I am able to cover off these expenses fine.
We are able to do many company activities out of work. The colleagues that I work with sometimes organise to go out after work and this is good for team morale as we all get a long with each other. We are able to do many voluntary activaties as we do a lot of charity work for Shelter and we at the company are able to get involved in many different activities. We are currently try to start up a group where we can go out and help the local community. There are a few leisure centre's and Gyms around here and many of my colleagues use these facilities on there lunch break.
Yes
Because Fujitsu is a huge company and they offer a lot of different oppertunities within the company and because they have treated me i think this is a brilliant company to work for.
If you are applying for this company the first thing I would say is do it as this has developed me as a person and I have gained so many skills for working for the company. The application process is one of the key steps of getting in to the company so i would advise that you spend a lot of time gaianing as much knowledge on the company as possible. Gaining the information is one of the key attributes for the Interview as you will have to explain what you know about the company. All I would say for the interview is just act yourself as at the end of the day these are the people you are going to be working with so as long as you have a good personality and are keen and you want the job the employer will be keen to sign you on. Whenever you get offered oppertunities I would take them straight away as by taking the opportunities you are developing more skills and you will be able to use the different skills for different tasks and by taking these it will put yourself above everybody else. Before I startyed my apprenticeship I would of liked to know abit more of what my job entails as when I joined i was just stepping into a role which I didnt know much about but if I had of been told then I would of know what to do and I could of researched how it is done.
