  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I spent the first 6 months of my apprenticeship going around the business learning every aspect of the job, not just the job that I will be doing but all the process that are involved. My role is to install and service the virgin media equipment and maintain the network. I feel the apprenticeship gave me an excellent insight into all the process and made this job easier and also gave me advantages to existing employees that had done this job for years.

  • I felt it was a fun and enjoyable experience that offered an amazing opportunity. It was a great way to be introduced to the industry, at times it didn’t even feel like being at work; I used to look forward to coming in to see what challenge tomorrow will bring. I liked working in teams be cause the people around were all easy to get on with and work with but also as an individual testing my own ability.
