Working within the Industrial and Logistics department, I am required to support the surveyors in all aspects regarding industrial warehouses. I assist in tasks such as schedules, configuring reports, gathering data, attending meetings and also using tools such as promap, land registry and costar
Since I started the program my communication skills have improved. Being in such a big company, working with different departments and clients really helps you to understand how important communication is and also how different sides of the business function. My knowledge of the market which i work within has improved drastically.
I am thoroughly enjoying my program, I feel like I am learning a lot and making progress everyday. I pick up new skills from colleagues on a regular basis and if I ever need help they are more than happy to assist.
JLL values its staff highly and invests heavily in staff development. Whenever there is a success within the company, it is highly recognized. There is always training availiable for me to complete. I am also invited out onto departmental events which are great.
I believe that the program is very well structured. We also get a lot of support from our trainer,our line managers and colleagues if need be. Our exams and training sessions are set out in advance which is always handy.
My training provider provides me with a good amount of support, but at the same time my tutor never spoon feeds information as she believes in my ability.If I ever need help or advice I am able to speak to her or email her to gain this.
My manager and colleagues are fully supportive of all that I do, whether it is to do with work, the program or personal situations. They are always there to support me and to better my knowledge and understanding of the market that I am currently in.
My salary/package is very good, in comparison to other apprentices I get paid a good salary and I also receive a travel allowance. The company also offer a expense system that you can claim your personal money from company events if need be. Furthermore I received a business attire bonus when I first started.
There are plenty of opportunities, whether you want to get involved in sports or if there is comapany events and departmental events. There is always a varity of opitions to get involved with and network with clients, colleagues and other firms.

JLL is a highly admired and great company to work for. The company has a fantastic reputation within the industry and also a excellant market knowledge. If property is the career path you want to go down, then JLL is defiantly the company that you want to work for.
Research the company in full detail, be yourself and also sell yourself. My tips would be to be very enthusiastic and give strong examples when answering competency questions, with evidence to back up your example.
