I am working as an Admin and Marketing apprentice, throughout my 12 month programme I responsible for organising marketing events and room hire and equipment etc. I assist my team in the day to day operations which include filing, scanning letter writing.
I am responsible for maintaining stocks and supplies including checking levels and ordering stationary. I have been in charge of something like quite similar as I was in charge of ordering stocks for once when I worked as a bartender.
This gives me the opportunity to meet new people and work with a lot of talented people. This is good for me as I can learn from them.
I thank my managers for hiring me as I am working hard and learning a lot and doing things which I have never done before. My team that I work with are amazing we are all happy to be here and we give each other support.
The training I am receiving is excellent, as I am going through step by step just so that I don't miss out on anything. My working hours are flexible and I can even study on desk.
I am receiving a lot of support from my training, my teacher is always striving hard to ensure her students end up with full time jobs by the end of our apprenticeship year.
My line manager is amazing who is supportive with me throughout my apprenticeship. We sit down and set out my objectives to me keep me going.
A lot of my salary goes towards my social life as I am mostly with my friends and family, trying to enjoy life whilst I am enjoying my working life.
I believe with the conservatives still in power there will be more opportunities that are available for those who are out of education and for those who are finishing there studies. With the experience I am gaining from this apprenticeship will enable me to apply for more jobs.
Yes
This is company is a great company to work for, everyone puts their head down and works hard but also gets along at the same time.
Just to be yourself, I have only realised that employers look for a person with a great personality, I believe my managers seen something shine within me and have decided to hire me.
