I was involved with JLL Capital Markets in London and had numerous experiences discussing how the property market worked with the types of properties, such as commercial property, my colleagues were involved with.
Yes I grasped a wider knowledge of the processes involved in how someone may buy and sell commercial property and the different types involved e.g. retail parks etc.
I really enjoyed the programme because the staff were insightful, always willing to help and help me learn new things. Furthermore, being able to meet clients and the properties they were involved in selling or buying was an eye opener.
The staff were welcoming and always willing to help and answer questions I had. They always applied the specific topic by showing me real examples in a recent project the staff had been working on.
The programme was well organised. If i wanted to spend more time on a particular piece of work, or ask about the property market, they were always willing to help.
My colleague was always on hand to help. The training provider, being a recent graduate, helped as they understood some of the questions that i wanted to ask, from my perspective.
The employer and staff were always helpful. They would often discuss parts of the field of work they are in from different departments. So I was able to learn a lot from across the departments.
It was sufficient and good. This didn't inhibit the costs involved. It was an enjoyable week and the costs were met and covered for the time I spent on work experience.
Yes the team are well motivated and this was shown the number of outside work social and events they have on. The team were friendly and were always motivated as they could get time off to speak to me if they needed to.
Yes
They are a great place to work with as they are friendly, hard working, motivated yet dedicated in what they do. It is a great atmosphere and was full of vitality.
Make sure the CV is up to date, clear and concise. Write about any experiences relevant to the department you would want to go into.
