The apprenticeship is 3 year, year 1 is a store assistant role and year 2 and 3 is an apprentice manager role. If you do well in the apprenticeship you are likely to get a job at the end of it, maybe even a deputy manager job. It is a great way to earn more skills and get a qualification in management. It is a great way to get far in the business.
I have learnt some great skills, involving managment responsibilities also. I have also become more mature.
I enjoy this programme and think it's a great opportunity for somebody for the age between 16-21.
I enjoy myself when I work at Aldi, I have met some amazing people along the way. I get along with everybody I work with.
The programme is well organised. You have to complete coursework aswell as doing flexible hours at Aldi, the working contract is 25 per week. It can be hard to keep on top of the coursework but I get a huge amount of help off my college tutor.
He is very helpful. Whenever I need he's help he is just a email away.
My store manager gives me plenty of support. He provides me with the training I need.
I am just 18 years old. The salary goes up £1 every September in my apprenticeship, it is plenty of earning for somebody my age.
I think the aldi apprenticeship is a great. I don't think there is a huge amount of jobs around and this is a great way to get you on the right tracks, or even get you far.
Yes
It's a fantastic job for somebody in my age group and great opportunity.
Try your best and it will get you far. It is a opportunity you won't want to turn down.
