Control engineer, Systems analysis and fault diagnosis. Day to day work is mainly irrelevant at the moment with more a electrical based maintenance role but adds to my learning
When considering what I have gained it is quite a lot since I began my apprenticeship
Sometimes can get frustrating when given irrelevant work
Not given many jobs that require responsibility
As we were the first year to have this 'higher' apprenticeship, and the job role wasn't originally meant to be on the program it hasn't been organised very well.
Originally quite a lot but it has been less and less now that he has other people to work with that have started. Problems can go unsolved.
In the paintshop I do receive the support I need when I ask.
Good pay
There is the ELS scheme which allows you to do a training course once a year.
Yes
Most job roles I have heard are quite well orginised and the pay is good trhoughout. good place to work
Make sure you are prepared and present yourself well at interviews and testing events.
