Network and Business Engineer Review

I currently work in the networks and business department. this involves maintaining the network with maintenance as well as clearing any ingress on the network. i also deal with any faults that occur with the equiopment on the 3 architectures we have in Birmingham.

I have learnt many new skills whilst in networks and been on many training courses including eltek power packs and G39 training as well as renewing my NRWSA.

I enjoyed my time in the apprenticeship programme as it gave me the opportunity to see many aspects of the business to give me an overview of how they work alongside and integrate into my department

i feel very valued and when hard work is recognised it strives you on to keep performing at that level and to improve more

It was well organised with great training and support from both apprenticeship managers and department managers

I had a mentor within our department who supported me throughout my apprenticeship giving me guidance and teaching me valuable aspects of the business.

I receive great support from all people involved

My salary packet was outstanding considering i was learning on the job and not having to go to college. compared to other appretniceships i feel that the salary offered my Virgin Media is fantastic
