I enjoy working at howdens because its a fast flowing environment. Everyone at howdens are friendly and are open to help even if they are busy.
I feel quite valued because I have certain jobs I have to complete on a day to day basis.these jobs are only done by me and they are giving me more jobs to do day by day.
When I first started the training company was bad they didn't really get in contact with me and there was a long period I didn't hear anything at all. This was concerning and I didn't know what I had to do to be able to complete my course for example key modules. In the last 2 months I have got a new training worker and I have certain dates now when she is coming, this is a varst improvement.
They are not really supportive at the start, but now they are doing better.
I have a lot of support from the employer and everyone who works here.Everyone is always willing to teach me and show me the right way of doing things.I am confident that if I don't know something,i can ask and receive the answer straight away.
The money is okay but could do with it being a little higher due to having to pay for living costs.
Outside of work the boys have football every Thursday, the invited me to it and every Thursday ive been going.
