I spend three days a week doing a City & Guilds Level 2 course in Electrical Installations. For the remaining two days of the week I come into work and take part in jobs with the day electricians in my department.

I have gained an NVQ Level 2 in the mechanical workshop and a BTEC level 3 in Electrical and Electronics, as well as an extra BTEC module in Pneumatics and Hydraulics.

it is an excellent opportunity
Work hard on the application form as this is the first stage of the process and influences who gets through to the next stage. If the candidate gets through to the assessment centre it is important that they are themselves.
