Shadowing Higher Apprentices, getting an insight into how the business works
Basic training in EXCEL, furhtered communication skills on a professional level.
I really enjoyed my time with PWC as i was very interested in the business they do especially the Tax branch. The ambassadors and buddies were very welcoming and helpful and were a credit to the firm.
I felt extrememly valued at PWC not just as a new-comer but as a new part of their team if only for a week. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly.
Our whole week was planned and structured from day 1 and maintained throughout. Everyday we knew exactly what we were going to be doing and i enjoyed the routine.
I among others revieved a basic training session in EXCEL which turned out to be very useful both now and for the future.
During my time at PWC I was paired up wth two buddies and there was also two main ambassadors who also did the higher appreticeship scheme. They were a vital lifeline for all of the students and really enhanced our time at PWC. Befoe the week began the student recruitment team were extremely hard working and helpful in providing all the necessary inforation and help so as our insight week ran smoothly.
The salary for the week was over and above what i expected to be getting which was great and definitely gives me great incentive to want to work for PWC. It's very evident that they look after their employees and this shows in the workplace as it is a very pleasant place to be.
At PWC there is a great importance placed on the social aspects as they regularly organise trips and events togehter. They try to compensate for the school leavers missing out on the uni- life.
Yes
It's a great company to work for as it is as much of a workplace as a family.
The work is what you make of it, you get out what you out in.
