I attended the PwC Business Insight week in which we were shown real experience of what it is like to work in PwC. They showed us examples of the work actual employees would complete on a day to day basis for example, submitting tax returns and creating spreadsheets
I have definitely improved my employability skills such as teamwork, working towards deadlines and responsibility. I am now better at working under pressure and have developed my IT skills.
I thought the experience was good for giving me an idea of what it is like to work in a real business environment but I'm not sure if i particularly liked the work involved. I found the work quite mundane and repetitive
I felt very valued by PwC as they seemed very interested in creating a positive impression and worked very hard to show me that the company is a good place to work for. I really liked the atmosphere in the building and thought the relationships seemed good
The programme is very organised and structured as we were set lots of tasks to complete and our time tables were given each day with new jobs to complete. However I thought on the second and third day there was too much time given to some of the tasks
We were given so much support from PwC from the recruitment team, our buddies and the managers. Everyone was really helpful and more than happy to answer any and all questions we had.

Yes the salary for the business was very impressive. I really wanted the experience of working in a reputable business like PwC therefore I would have done the business insight week for free - however getting paid was a very good benefit
There does appear to be a lot of opportunities outside of work in PwC such as weekly cinema trips, a bbq on the friday and activity days.
Yes
It is a great experience as you learnt a lot about the industry and looks really impressive on your CV
Research a lot about PwC before your interview as there is a huge emphasis placed on this
