Learning the day to day tasks of my team and getting more involved with them over time. Creating EARs reports, learning unix, working on my portfolio and handbook.
Plenty more than I learned at college, before the programme I didn't know a scrap of unix. Know I'm pretty in depth with it.
All the time, I don't think I've ever had a moment where I've regretted being a part of the programme. My team makes things so fun and with offices being close to transport links and the town center it makes it a lot easier to relax and have fun at lunch.
Always involved with tasks and constant recognition / feedback is really pleasing.
It felt like it took a little while for me to get into the structure but the ALE was really easy to adapt to. When I came into work it took a little while because I needed some more security clearances to start the real work but before that I was given plenty of tasks to keep my occupied and prepare me for the jobs that I do now.
My mentor, manager and colleagues have been fantastic, I've never felt like I've integrated into another position this easily. Everyone is so friendly and willing to help out with any problem I have.
Like 6A I've had loads of help from everyone.
It's a great wage that covers all my expenses and more!
Plenty, I see my other apprentices outside of work all the time.
Yes
Because it's a great oppurtunity to learn a valuable skill set.
Be yourself and try to relax, getting yourself too worked up will only make things worse. Interviewers aren't against you so there's no point in getting too worked up about things, after all they might be your colleagues soon enough!
