The first week allowed us to explore various departments within JP Morgan through a series of presentations. These were accompanied by skills sessions and group activities. The second week was more specialized, and I was able to explore JP Morgan's Private Bank at Knightsbridge. As part of my role, I was tasked with presenting to a panel if senior employees regarding a client scenario and how we would be able to assist them. In doing so, I was able to meet several employees across a range of jobs.
I definitely improved in my presentation skills following the intense pressure of creating content and having to present this to senior employees within such a limited time. My ability to network has also improved as JP Morgan gave us great exposure to a variety of people in the business.
Very much, it was a unique experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone. At times, however, it was incredibly stressful though I suppose this was a realistic depiction of working there.
Although JP Morgan is an extremely large business, in my two weeks there I felt very valued. From the beginning, we received great hospitality in the form of breakfast and gifts such as a bag and notebook. Everyone was also allocated their own indivual mentor, and at the private bank, an additional buddy to talk to. Our hosts and organisers were also extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel very valued.
Very well structured; at the beginning we were issued with timetables detailing our activities. However the time given to form the presentation had been very limited.

All employees were available to ask any questions to, and even now I feel comfortable to contact the employer if I have any queries. There was definitely a high level of support.

JP Morgan arranged for us to have a variety of activities outside work, ranging from networking sessions to visiting the national portrait gallery. Therefore, yes, there were several opportunities that I wouldn't even expect yet were provided.
Yes
Not only is JPM a great name to put on a CV, but I learned so much about working in a professional environment and about myself. It was definitely an amazing opportunity that I will remember moving forward.
When applying, invest a lot of time and effort in considering the questions as this really is a great opportunity. Also, don't be intimidated by the several essays involved in applying - it's worth it!
