For the first week we mainly had talks on different departments of the bank such as GCB and treasury services. During the second week, I had to research on equities, stocks and shares, bonds, futures & forwards, commodities, options and several other markets related topics. At the same time I had the chance to work, interact and network with some great people who worked in the bank.
My confidence level has definitely increased. After the 2 week internship, I'm more comfortable in approaching people and having professional conversations with them. Also I have enhanced my transferable skills, particularly speaking and listening skills.
I enjoyed the programme a lot. There was something new to learn and take in everyday. I can say for sure it was one of the best experiences of my life.
I felt very much valued at J.P.Morgan. Everyone treated me like another person who worked at the bank even though I was only there for 2 weeks. I felt every single person there was approachable and they were very kind to help us and support us in any way we required. I felt like a part of the bank.
I thought the programme was very well structured. There was no time when the group leaders or our mentors felt as if they didn't knew what they were doing. The whole day from the start till finish was fully organised.
I received immense amount of support which I can't thank my mentor enough for. She helped me all the way through my day to day work or any general questions I had about the job or bank.
I received a lot of support from all the people at the bank.

I would say it is the best place I have worked at and definitely the best people I've I ever worked with. All the people at the bank were very nice, kind, supportive and professional. I didn't feel left out for one second.
I would say during the application process, answer the questions fully. Try to maximise the use of word limit provided and honestly answer the questions to the best of your ability.
