Learnt content on the different asset classes and had to use content to construct a portfolio for a potential client of the private bank and justify the structure of the portfolio to a senior panel.
I have develop team working skills as I had to work with a stranger to develop an presentation. I have developed communication and networking skills as part of the purpose of the work experience was to broaden my networking stream.
I enjoyed it very much because I like the environment the employees created during my time there and also found the content of conversation very interesting.
I feel very valued as it J.P.Morgan are not obliged to run the programme in the way they do and from what other interns said about internships at other banks, it seems the exposure to life as a employee at a bank is greatest at J.P.Morgan.
The programme was structured well. The event organisers were in constant contact before the internship, portraying a clear image of what was planned during the internship.

I received a lot of help from my employer. My buddy/mentor were available for contacting (mostly via email but sometimes in person) throughout the duration of the internship if needed during working hours.

Yes
There a great ethos and I believe it's trying it best to trade cleanly in the market place.
When applying through SMF, read the questions asked clearly and give an answer you would be happy to speak about in front of those who picked you out. Once exam season finished, thoroughly read through the resources sent to you to maximise ability to learn a lot during the internship.
