I was shadowing varies members of the firm in different areas, Assurance, Tax and Consulting. I helped out with any tasks they had and attended meetings with them.
I have greatly improved my networking and communication skills, and feel I have a more in-depth knowledge of business practises
A feel it was a useful life experience and hope it will increase my future prospects
I feel very value as they provided lots of support and we were paid a generous amount for attending the week on top of varies freebies.
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday were excellent, but Monday and Friday wasted a lot of time which could have been used better
Lots of support, I never felt I was being asked to do something I did not know how to do or that I could not ask for help.
A fair amount
Travel expenses to the base office could have been covered
Lots
Yes
Because it was incredibly useful as I want to go into finance and even if I was not interested it would have been useful anyway.
Make sure to make as many contacts and organise as many meetings as possible, make the most of the experience.
