The first week mainly consisted of teach-ins where people representing various lines of business at J.P Morgan came and talked to us about what their job was, what they do and the services they provide. The second week I spent with my mentor observing what he did in his sector and working on the group project.
I have developed my communication skills through the two weeks as I met many new people and had to consistently network. I also developed my team working skills through the project where eight of us had to work together to present to our mentors and various people we had met in our sector.
The programme was by far the best two weeks of my summer. I absolutely loved the experience as I knew i would've never been able to access J.P.Morgan on my own. I really enjoyed the fact that we had many teach-ins to experience the bank as a whole.
Very valued, everyone I came across was so friendly and genuine when they offered to help. They always answered my questions with a smile on their face and we were treated as if we were part of the team.
Very strucuted, we were given a planner of what we were doing day to day and so I knew what to expect everyday. As it was organised we got to have a taste of the different parts of J.P Morgan.

We were supported throughout the whole 2 weeks and as everyone was so friendly you knew where to go and who to speak to if you ever need help, we were made to feel very welcome.

We were informed of the countless opportunities to come back to J.P Morgan through the spring weeks and internships to the graduate job and we were advised to apply to them as they are the perfect way to gain more insight.
Yes
As it was nothing like I had expected from a bank, the culture is great, everyone is so friendly and welcoming and there are countless opportunities for everyone; there is a job/role for everyone.
Make the most of the two weeks as they go by very fast and to ask as many questions as they can that will benefit them into gaining more insight into there dream job.
