Commercial Procurement apprentice- Assiting the commercial team with any procuring done within TfL.
yes, training have been provided to organisation specific, software and Microsoft skills. i have developed my IT skills and my knowledge of the procurement sector. In addition to this on completion of my apprenticeship i will have gained an NVQ & CIPS level 3
Excellent programme, i am gratefull for the experience. i couldnt reccommend it more. It provides you will all the skills you may need to continue working in your chosen sector, also with the oppertunity to network out to others roles.
very, I feel the apprentice programme has been set out to a excellent standard. In Return this makes us feel valued both on a professional and personal level.
very strong, The structure of this apprenticeship is based on 2 years work experience and one day college. i am on 6 month rotations within the copany ,enabling me at the end to have worked in all procurement departments.
a large amount of suport is given, independent growth is important and space is given for this.
support is provided from the start - however if this isnt enough its possible to request more. I dont belive this happens as there is enough from the start till the end
For a young person the salary is excellent. However i choose to do this apprenticeship after my degree as i felt passionate about working my way up in the organisation. so for someone with more experience and older in age a higher sallary to project this would have been appreciated.
im unsure whether this is asking about opportunities for working in a different organisation or for opportunities set up by Tfl -
Yes
ive learnt alot, more than what my degree alone has taught me. Ive done this while working and earning. Lastly im more confident with knowing what i want to do in 5 years.
take up as much training and courses as you can that are provided, you may think some are pointless but in the long run they really help u acknowledge what u want from your role.
