My role on a daily basis consists of a balanced amount of administrative work and telesales. Its a fairly unique experience in the sense you get to speak to a lot of people on a daily basis which is pretty nice! Its also helped me boost my social confidence so I am really satisfied with my apprenticeship.
As I mentioned in the above I have developed upon my social confidence, now I feel more comfortable talking to people than what I did previously. I have also built on my mathematics skills, being that part of the job is all about sales. I have also developed upon my organizational skills which helps on a day to day basis.
Its been a really enjoyable experience and I have certainly learned a lot in this field of work. My colleagues here are amazing and very helpful when I get stuck! Its also a friendly environment to work in which is a plus!
I feel very valued! The company offers huge incentives for hitting targets, both on a branch scale and personal scale, you are rewarded for your contribution to the company which is great, not many companies do this!
It seems a bit jumbled up at times, like you will do 1 for example then jump to 5 and then next time your on 3 and 8, other than that I feel that its fairly well set out and the work is understandable.
A massive amount of support! My training provider is super helpful and is always pointing me in the right direction, giving me tips on how to make my job easier and is really easy to talk to if I have an issue which is a massive bonus :)
Same as with the training provider, my employer is always helping me out, pointing me in the right direction and teaching me things about the job I would never have know otherwise, like "Trade Jargon" for instance, never heard of it until he told me about it. I am grateful
I have been paid less and more by other companies, however this is an apprenticeship and I am learning at the companies expense to again I am very grateful for the opportunity that has been given to me.
I have the opportunity outside of work to do a lot of things in my personal life, which is good and their is also a bit of work to do with regards to the training provider however that is a small amount ad does not take up much time.
Yes
Already have, Its a good company to work for from my experience so far with the incentives, the friendly working environment, the aim to achieve as much you can, to hit goals and in a calm environment with miniscule amounts of pressure.
If you need help with anything, just ask! The people at Howdens know their stuff, so if your ever stuck they can always offer advice and help you out whenever you need it.
