My Job generally keeps my quite busy throughout the day. this involves maintaining and administering a couple of servers, hardware and software support as well as software installations.
I have learned many new skills to do with my job including technical knowledge in different systems and products, as well as some soft skills.
The work I do is good and feels important, my team and friendly and supportive, I can get behind the company culture although the work is more important to me. My expectations were much different to what I'm currently doing at the moment but I still enjoy the job.
I feel fairly valued by the company for the job I'm doing and sometimes IBM does little things to say thanks for working here which is nice.
Yes
Prestigious company to work for, salary is very good, people are great, plenty of opportunities
Make sure you have something on your CV that makes you unique. Not just grades, either experience, knowledge or even activities like volunteering or extra curricular activities. these will give you a good edge on other potential candidates.
