My role is within Accenture is on the Department for Work and Pensions Service Management Team. I deal with live incidents, problems, change releases and tasks. I do this by maintaining all at the same time by raising, updating and closing them.
One main skill I have developed is team communication as it is very important we all talk to each other about different issues that are raised so that we strategically set a plan to overcome the issue.
The Accenture Apprenticeship has been a brilliant experience so far and i hope to complete the apprenticeship and then move on to bigger and better things within the company.
Accenture provides many benefits. A very good one being that every home match newcastle has there is a draw to win free tickets to sit in either the moncur suite which you get a free meal and cheese board at half time and the second is the gallowgate club which has amazing seats. I have fortunately won 3 tickets so far and enjoyed everyone of them.
The overall apprenticeship is very well organised and the support is always there when you need it. All information about University or opportunities are given in a timely manner so that you can plan ahead and work towards completing you goals.
As I mentioned previously the support is always there when needed. All I need to do is send an email or go have a chat to talk about issues or whatever and then the support will be given to try and overcome this.

I think the Apprenticeship salary is extremely good baring in mind what other companies give. This is one thing that spurs me on to try and do well within the company knowing that I will one day I will hopefully end up on better money due to the amount of opportunities that arise to get yourself moving up the ladder system. I travel by car everyday and the salary I get is more then enough to cover the costs of traveling by car.
There are a lot of opportunities within Service Management to go on social events. We have just been Ice Skating for a team night out which was a lot of fun. There are also other events held where we will go on a night out and all drinks will be subsidized by the team.
Yes
It is a brilliant opportunity which offers many benefits such as not getting in any debt with University due to it all being paid. The overall workplace is a lovely friendly environment to work in.
Make sure you have a little background knowledge in HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY AND PHP for University.
